There is one-hour free parking on Market Place, or paid parking at the rear of the Howden Centre. There is wheelchair access into the building via a ramp and automatic doors. The desks are height adjustable for wheelchair users.
Brief Description:
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council Building in Howden is a Customer Service Centre. The centre provides advice, information and access to all council services, help with application forms, payment facilities and information about a range of partner organisations. There is also a library where people can borrow books and have access to computers, printing and photocopying facilities.

From Goole via A614 (3.8m). Take A614. Head north on Lower Bridge Street towards Stanhope Street. Continue onto Coronation Street. Continue onto Mariners Street. Turn left into Boothferry Road. Turn right onto Airmyn Road/A614. Continue to follow A614 for 2.5 miles. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Boothferry Road/A614. Turn left onto Hailgate. Turn right to stay on Hailgate.
From Hull via M62 (26.1 miles). Take Queens Dock Avenue, Lowgate and High Street to Castle Street/A63. Follow A63 or 15.5 miles. Continue onto M62 (signs for Leeds/Goole). Follow M62 for 8.4 miles. Exit M62 at junction 37 and take the A614 towards Howden/Selby/A63. Turn right to stay on A614. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Boothferry Road/A614. Turn left onto Hailgate. Turn right to stay on Hailgate.
