There is ramped access into the church. Assistance dogs are welcome. There is a hearing induction loop, and toilets are available on site. Flooring is laid to stone, with wide aisles and flat surfaces.


Brief Description:

Howden Minster is a grade I listed building, dating back to Saxon times. The building of the church began in 1228 and was not completed until the 15th century. The ruins at the church can be viewed from the outside only. There are many stone sculptures around the grounds both new and old. The church is dedicated to St Peter & St Paul and is one of the largest churches in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
