Brief Description:
Although St Wilfrid's church dates back to the 12th century, the current building was built in the 13th and 14th century and dedicated to St Wilfrid. This Grade I Listed Building, is situated approximately 12 miles to the east of Hull city centre and 5 miles south west of Withernsea. The spire was once a landmark for ships sailing to Hull.

From Hull via A1033 (12.3m). Take Lowgate and Market Place to Garrison Rd/A63. Follow A63 and A1033 to Sunk Island Road in East Riding of Yorkshire for 11.7 miles. Turn right onto Sunk Island Road.
From Barton Upon Humber via A63 and A1033 (22.5m) (This route has tolls). Get on Humber Bridge/A15 from Ferriby Rd/A1077. Follow A15, A63 and A1033 to Sunk Island Road in East Riding of Yorkshire for 21 miles. Turn right onto Sunk Island Road.
