Accessibility:

"The aquarium is accessible to all and offers free hire of its mobility aids including, 2 electric scooters, 7 manual wheelchairs and 4 walking aids, which can be used in the building's lifts to its different floors. The scooters are available on a first come, first served basis, but everything else can be pre-booked by calling ahead on 01482 381000 Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm.  At the entrance you will find an Groups & Accessible entrance, designed for shorter queuing times. There are accessible toilets on-site and on every floor of the attraction. 

The car park has 10 widened spaces (2.75 metres wide) designated for accessible parking, next to the Groups & Accessible entrance. Accessible parking (for vehicles displaying a valid blue badge) is free of charge, but be aware that the car park can become congested during peak periods."

Directions:

Situated 6.2 miles NE of Hessle. Head NE on Hull Road, continuing onto Hessle Road. At roundabout take third exit onto Priory Way. At the end of the road turn left to merge onto Clive Sullivan Way/A63, heading towards City Centre/A165. Continue on A63 and at major roundabout/junction take 1st exit onto A1165/Great Union Street. Just after roundabout turn left onto Citadel Way. At the end of the road turn left onto Tower Street and at mini roundabout take 2nd exit. The Deep will be directly in front of you. OS TA102282.



Transport:

"The Priory Park & Ride includes Tower Street as a stop, which is a two minute walk from The Deep’s main entrance. Further information can be found here: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/east-midlands/hull-park-and-ride

The closest railway is Hull Interchange. From here, the aquarium is sign posted. If walking from Hull City Centre, there is a pedestrian and cycle bridge linking to the aquarium. There is a car park at The Deep with 280 spaces, and additional overflow car parks surrounding the main roundabout. Accessible parking (for vehicles displaying a valid blue badge) is free of charge at all times, otherwise parking is payable of £3.75 for 5 hours [as of 2023]."
